Good Evening!
My name is Matt Allen, and our team at Grit Capital has re-branded this newsletter into a newsletter that tracks congressional stock trades, government contracts, and lobbying deals every Tuesday.
Congress keeps trading stocks on inside information that is not available to the average person. They are becoming millionaires when they are supposed to be working for me and you. The entire mission behind this “Follow The Money” newsletter is to help level the playing field between the average person and the insiders in Washington DC.
We are also launching a paid subscription where subscribers also receive two deep-dive investigations every month into stocks that Congress has been buying. The companies that are featured will have a track record of congress buying the stock along with government lobbying and/or government contracts. These investigations are published on the first and third Thursday of the month at 9:00 am.
I look forward to getting to know each of you, and it is time that we level the playing field for the average investor!
President Biden and Republican leaders made absolutely no progress in their talks last Tuesday and unfortunately they cancelled their meeting last Friday. The two sides will resume negotiations today.
Both sides on this issue are unwilling to change their stance. Biden wants to raise the debt limit with no spending cuts while Republicans want to cut trillions in government spending.
There was a lot of recent trading activity by congress. I have picked out the most important ones and listed them below.
