Good Evening!
I know that I sent this first part last Tuesday, but I want to keep reminding you of the re-brand!
My name is Matt Allen, and our team at Grit Capital has re-branded this newsletter into a newsletter that tracks congressional stock trades, government contracts, and lobbying deals every Tuesday.
Congress keeps trading stocks on inside information that is not available to the average person. They are becoming millionaires when they are supposed to be working for me and you. The entire mission behind this “Follow The Money” newsletter is to help level the playing field between the average person and the insiders in Washington DC.
We are also launching a paid subscription where subscribers also receive two deep-dive investigations every month into stocks that Congress has been buying. The companies that are featured will have a track record of congress buying the stock along with government lobbying and/or government contracts. These investigations are published on the first and third Thursday of the month at 9:00 am.
I look forward to getting to know each of you, and it is time that we level the playing field for the average investor!
President Biden and Republican leaders have made some progress on their debt ceiling talks.
Both sides have agreed that they will cut the extra Covid money, but this is as far as they have gotten.
Janet Yellen announced that the United States has until June 1st before we run out of money.
Governor Ron Desantis will be announcing his Presidency with Elon Musk on a twitter space on Wednesday night at 6:00 pm.
