AI: Apple and Google
Apple is discussing integrating Google's Gemini AI into the iPhone, a move that could transform the AI landscape. The talks involve Apple using Google's advanced AI technology for new iPhone features. Apple has also explored a partnership with OpenAI. A successful deal would enhance Apple and Google's existing search engine collaboration, with financial and implementation details still under negotiation.

The potential agreement boosted Alphabet's stock by 4.5% in premarket trading. This partnership could provide Google's AI with a vast new user base but also suggests Apple may need external AI expertise for its upcoming iOS 18 features.
