Sector Deep Dive: The State of Technology

It’s technology’s world, all other stocks are just living in it.

You’d be hard-pressed to find any asset class that has performed better than technology stocks over the last two decades.

Revolutionary innovation has driven productivity forward, improved quality of life, and ushered in a new era of what “work” looks like.

With recent advancements in Artificial Intelligence, it is hard to see this trend slowing down soon.

This revolution has minted many billionaires in the era of the geek. No longer are math whizzes getting stuffed in lockers. Instead, they’re getting stuffed with caviar on their mega yachts.

Historically, having a 3-year time horizon for technology investments is the most valuable. Any shorter is speculation; any longer, you will fail to account for how fast things can change.

Right now, this timeline has been shortened. AI will disrupt so many “traditional” business models that you will become extinct if you don't remain nimble.
